I just got in a little bit of practice and messed around with some settings till I liked how it drove, but I still could like a little bit more steering.

I got my best lap so far to be a 18.7 on Halifax, and my slowest was 23.1 because of a spin out and a flip over.

Reading the VRC forums, they've been working on this bug for years, and still have no clue what they are doing.

Dude, that's no BS. It's unfortunate that our only option for r/c simulation is VRC, because in all honesty.. it's not all that great. I say that considering how long it's been available. There have been software upgrades but not in a looooong time. Plus you figure that they were supposed to release the next edition like 2 years ago. Their R&D has got to be some of the slowest in the game/sim industry. They should have just hired a video game manufacturer to make it. It's really quite pathetic IMO.

So I can't change my view in the race for the club? If I can't I dont think I'm gonna be in these series because without the behind car cam I'm done. I just had to DNF my first try because of this.

you gotta stand where the drivers stand...You will get used to it man, we all had too at first but I never think about it now.

Well ladies, having not been around for a while, I just noticed Rob has organized a Winter Oval series. I think it just might be time to dust off the controller and see if I can still lay some "go fast, turn left" smackdown on y'all.

Or, if it's still like the last series I ran, it'll be more like "go fast, turn left...kinda. Lay the smackdown on that AI guy and then into the wall at full throttle".

Run both and you will have a shot at $25 at Amain too!

And to still a line from someone we all know...

Who the hell was that?

I dunno man. Running the road course season would kill me. I can't tell you in enough words exactly how much I suck at road course. I have never wanted to break a controller more in my life. So I'll think about it. But I'm way too old for that kind of stress.

I thought those lap times sound too good for a beginner. You race r/c from the driver's stand and this is an r/c game,it takes practice but if you can drive an r/c you'll be able to pick it up. I'm used to gaming from the driver's seat view myself, but that ain't r/c either!

Jeff, glad to have your racing even if it is just on the ovals

It's good to know I'm not the only one that drives like that. Glad to hear you will join us!

Damn damn damn!!! My friggin car did a disappearing act on my first pit stop or I would have had ya Randy, less than 2/10 of a second arggggghhhhh. Not sure if I'll run again or not.
