I will be joining the winter series guys. I just bought the adapter from sng, and this week I will buy the game. Before the season will I be able to practice by myself by any chance? Just so I dont suck up the track and come in last place. Looks like a whole lot of fun though.

And thanks for bugging me Lloyd :D

Once you get the game, you will register it online and then you can practice off line any time you want since the game will be installed on your pc. You can also do daily challenges online anytime you want too.

Okay, I just bought the game, so both will be coming in the mail in the next few days. Count me in the winter series rob! Looks like a lot of fun to me.

Welcome aboard bro! Glad you joined,I think you'll have some fun with us.

Interesting stat....4 of your victories came on Speedway which we visited 6 times. Only 1 of my victories came on Speedway.

No Speedway in the regular Winter Series........

But 5 of my 9 fast lap bonuses were on road courses,2 were races I did not win. Just need some consistency........

Round 16 : R/C Speedway

Well that's it,it's over! With the end of the final race at R/C Speedway, the RCNitroTalk.com VRC series has drawn to a close. And the season champion is .......

Well, lets look at the race first. Down 3 points,Racer 1966 knew it was time to go big or go home but at first it looked like robmob was not going to allow it. robmob took the lead on lap 1 and lead the first part of the race. A crash on lap 5 even allowed 3rd place finisher slowngreen to get around Racer 1966. After regaining his focus,Racer 1966 found the groove and drove back around slowngreen and took the lead from robmob. Never looking back Racer 1966 takes the win with a 12 lap margin and set the fast lap time along the way. That gives him the 3 points he needed to catch robmob but for the championship he still needed slowngreen to put robmob back to 3rd place, but it wasn't to be. robmob takes 2nd with a 9 lap advantage over the 3rd place finish of slowngreen.

So now the points championship is decided,no it's not! We end with a tie for first between robmob and Racer 1966! So there will be co-champions this season. Here's final points order:

robmob - 148
Racer 1966 - 148
slowngreen- 96
SMaxxin- 80
NCNitro- 69
abadk9420- 36
Lessen- 12
darkslayor24- 10

With winter coming,we also have 2 new VRC series coming to race in. One series for the on-road races and another for just the oval racing. Like this season, these new series should have a lot of great racing and more photo-finishes! Congratulations to all the racers! Keep those engines warm, the winter series starts in only 2 weeks. Race On!

Got the game and the adapter in today. Thanks sng! I am going to install the software, and create my account tonight so then I will ask what tracks to download. I can't wait to start racing!!!

Having a little bit of trouble. I got the game installed, got my account created, and plugged in my adapter and rx.

When I try to calibrate my controller right before practice, it says that its not connected. What am I not doing right?

I've had alot of trouble with the adapter I'm using too, it took alot of wiggling the connections to get it to work. Just leave it on the little box screen that supposed to show if its hooked up and then keep messing with it.

Well rob told me that only the SR3520 and SR3100 rx's will work with the game! wow, i dont have either and both are $100, so i really dont know what I am going to do. Maybe pick up a cheapee 2.4 like a venom, or that orange one WoodiE gave away on here a few months ago.

I used a sr300 when I was running my 3r.

Got the controller to work finally, and started some practice. WOW is this game hard, but a lot of fun. I love how it tells you to come in and re-fuel, and you can see the smoke come out of the exhaust. I just need to figure out how to use my 3 track credits.

Now, I am going to go ahead and officially join the VRC Club online so I can get ready for the season. I have to say thanks though to SNG for helping me out with my controller situation.

. I just need to figure out how to use my 3 track credits.

Just go to the VRC site and log in. Then click the e-shop tab on the left, then select your tracks. Check the 3 you need and buy them. Then you can start your game and click File Check on the lower left and the game will install the new tracks.

Found out how to get my tracks, thanks randy! Now, is it a must to upgrade to V3.5? I have V3.2 which is what my disk says, and i was wondering if I should upgrade? there is a free download on the VRC website anyways...
