As the end of the season draws near and the championship in the balance,robmob comes out and takes control of this race from lap 1.
Once again Racer 1966 is unable to match robmob's pace. robmob gains almost a 4 second advantage in the first 3 laps. All Racer 1966 can do is watch his bumper disappear on the horizon. In the end,robmob stretches it to a full lap victory over Racer 1966 and along the way sets the fast lap time of the race.
slowngreen struggles to a 3rd place finish this week as SMaxxin just can't seem to get up to speed on this track. Not really a lot of racing as they both just try to make laps. At the line slowngreen gets the better of SMaxxin with a 3 lap lead leaving SMaxxin with 4th place.
In the points,robmob regains the lead by 2 over Racer 1966. NCNitro fails to show this week, all but eliminating his chance for the 3rd place season finish. slowngreen adds 1 point to his lead over SMaxxin who holds down the 4th position. With 2 points separating 1st and 2nd, 2 points separating 3rd and 4th and only 2 races to go, ANYTHING can happen!
The semi-final race will be on a new track in the VRC series. What will that do to finishing order? The green is flying - we'll soon find out! Let's go Racing!

When I originally created the current series, I know that ALL of us were showing to have Messina. The event they are referring to must have been occurring at that time. When the event was over, the track went away from the list which is why I questioned it last week when I didn't see Messina on the list.
This changes what tracks we will be using for the Winter Series. Messina is out and it looks like Halifax is out as well since it only shows 3 of us having it. Lostallo is showing that 4 of us have it, but I don't know which 4. I may just use Lostallo anyway and if the core 4 racers can't all access the track I will just change it at that time.
Too bad the cost of the track packs is so high. They should at least allow users to only buy 1 track.

??? I made my Boss run earlier, now its not on there? But theres now two Messina races and the boss test?
It's there. Click on View More and you will see it.
You had 42 laps.
All the other races except for the Race 15 - Boss Speed will go away in a day.

Oh good! I didnt want to have to run it again unless Pete passes me.
Yea it really sucks! I slightly rubbed a curb never went off the track but that stupid red dot was flashing and I had to marshal
I did something similar yesterday. I was sure I did not go off the track or over the divider. Went around the S/F line and didn't hear anything. I then saw the red dot and hit the space bar. Turns out I went almost 3/4 of the track without noticing the red dot.

Theres several spots where I've "hit" the wall but it was like the wall wasn't there so I got stuck on the other side and had to marshal. Oh well, that makes it that much more challenging.
Bummer, I liked Messina a lot. I don't have Lostallo or Halifax yet,I have credits just haven't picked them up yet. Make a final decision and I'll get what's needed.
Add Lostallo and Halifax then. That will make 4 of us having Halifax and 5 having Lostallo which includes you, myself, Pete and Lloyd.
I will for sure make them part of the Winter Series then.

I was thinking earlier about the fastest pit point....it would be to easy to get I think. You could pit after one lap and only be in there for a couple of seconds. I dont think we should have it in the winter series like we talked about.
I now have Lostallo and Halifax installed :thumbup:

Either of you top runners wanna give any advice on speedway quickness? Do you stay pinned in the second corner or do you let off? When do you break/let off on curve one? I usually come out of curve one with enough speed that I have to let off so I dont hit the wall.
I only tap the brake right at the S/F line and make the turn trying to hug the inside line. I ease on the throttle until I can power out of the turn. On the banked turn I stay WOT and yank the wheel to stay as low in the turn as possible. I have to feather the steering to stay where I want.

I have to brake hard just before the S/F line,then WOT from the apex out and back around.
Put in a run at Boss Speed to see how the on-line compares to my practice track. Lots of practice still needed :yes:
