The beeping wasn't so bad. The flashing LED bothered me more since I run without the lights on. After I was finished I still saw the flashing LED after I turned off the transmitter. It took a few minuted for my eyes to stop seeing it.

Lipo is on the charger. Seems to be OK so far. Charging it in a Lipo sack just in case.

My second run was pretty good, until on lap 6 I lost my signal, had to shut my radio on and off and try again, got it back up, but it was a costly lap. But at least it was still a better run than my first one.

It hurts my eyes to be on the computer with the lights out. I have my monitor dimmed as far as it will go and it's still too bright for me so I keep the main room light on + my desk lamp.

Joe picked up a couple of laps, good job Joe!

Thanks Randy. I don't think I will run again, that's probably about the best I am going to be able to do. I pulled off 53 laps practicing, but that was with no traffic. So I'll just have to be content with what I got.

Great job Joe.

Your average is better than mine was last season by a second.

Thanks Rob. I took Randy's advice, put the low power engine in, got somewhat use to the track, then started trying to tweak the car setup some around that engine. I definitely did not do as bad as I thought I was going to at the beginning of the week.

Yeah but the test at the first of this season you ran a 20.384 best lap.

I'm glad someone is using my advice,I'm not! :hehe:

I just saw the schedule, we're off for the next 2 weeks. Poo!

Great racing this week guys.

Congrats on the podium finish Randy.

I was simply aiming for 2nd place after I saw Jeff's and Josh's times. At the 10 minute mark I knew I had a shot at 1st and put my head down to try and stay focused on keeping my laps at around the 20.0 to 20.5 mark. Transmitter did everything it could to stop me, but I would not be denied.

One funny thing happened on my 2nd pit. I came in too hot and missed the entry to pit lane by a smidge. The impact in the barrier sent me flying and I landed right on the refuel spot. Boy was I relieved.

My lipo took 2226mah of juice during it's recharge. It's a 2500mah pack.

I wish I had funny stories. I screwed up right away. Forgot to make a full tank run with my setup to set my pit interval. Thought 7 minutes was right. Well, at about 6:20 it died about as far from pit lane as you can get. So had to marshal it and wasted about 15 seconds overall having to do that. Then of course I hit my usual issue. I just lose focus about halfway through. Yeah, I'm mental. Start trying to shorten corners. Build faster lines. All that. And I usually end up in the infield or bouncing off curbs. I need to learn to run the same line from beginning to end and not keep looking for new ones.

Josh posted it in the first post of this thread.

Sept. 20 - Luxembourg 1500 - 95%

VRC won't show the grip until the event starts.

I suggest you practice at 1% less.

Same thing happens to me too Jeff. I'm very very comfortable at this track and I know where I can make time. Unfortunately I threw patience out the window this week.

To give you an idea about lap times while your are practicing.....

The Lux track is similar in length to the one we just ran on so lap times will be similar as well.
