CRAP!!! Forgot it opened yesterday! Better grab my stuff tonight and get some heated practice in before I post a time!!!!

Well, I've got my first couple runs in. Not too shabby I suppose. Bone stock setup there. Just tryhing to knock the dust off before getting too serious. I'll definitely do more runs later this week.

C'mon Randy, go put some times down. :)

Jeff, I'm noticing that I cannot see any of your provisionary times. Was it always hidden last year? I don't remember.

Seriously,I suck and I haven't even tried with other traffic yet. I ran some more tonight and started to get semi sort of consistant mid to upper 20 sec laps.

That's cool man. Just for your reference...

2008 Round 13 @ Tamiya Kakegawa avg. laptimes:

Lessen: 20.272
Candyman: 20.929
Robmob: 24.749
Savagefan04: 28.166

Josh, you're not seeing my provisionary times because there aren't any yet! I haven't had the chance to get to my computer to run it. But I'm expecting to throw down a couple runs tonight to see how I do.

Oh... It says 2 people are entered and I just assumed you were the other (besides me), but it does not show me the other person and their times.

Now it shows 3 as being entered. Jeff must have put some runs in.

I'm pretty sure it used to show everybody's provisional times. I think it's pretty cool that it's hidden now.

Nope, no runs yet. I can see your times, Josh. 21 in just over 8:00, right? I don't know why it's logging more participants unless someone's been trying and has pulled their run. Like I said, I'm going to be trying later tonight to get some times in.

Finally remembered to put down a few times.

i've been doing some trial runs and no matter what set up i use, i'm still all over the place...

ok i caved and just put down a few laps....man the rust is pretty thick.

Wow, looking tight so far. I'm only 3 seconds over Rob. And less than a lap behind Josh. Feeling pretty fair. Not good. But fair. And if I have to pat myself on the back, I did fire off an 18.9 second lap on my second attempt. But it was then followed by 5 laps of cartwheels and donuts and grass and walls and a missed pitstop and I just gave up.

Just got home, I'll have to look at those times. I'll probably do a couple more runs tonight with the stock setup before I try fiddling around with car settings.

FYI: I'm strongly considering changing the "playoff" format of the last three races to create some parity and also add another level of interest. I'd like to see a format that allows an honest to goodness shot at the whole shabang for the 2nd and 3rd place racers. Let me know what you think...

As last year the top three qualify for a "playoff" spot after round 13. I want to award the top three drivers 'top three points' respective to one another, no matter how they finish the race. i.e. The top three drivers finish 1, 2, 5. They would be awarded points for 1, 2, 3 in each of the final three races. The big difference is that in those races the top three drivers offical race times would be their last run (out of two maximum). Everybody else outside the top three would be awarded standard points as they finish and based on their best run, not last run as for the championship contenders.

Whataya think? Interesting?
