The engine in my NitroMT truck is starting to flame out. I have to now wait for the engine to cool down before I can restart it. I can't feel any compresson when the engine is hot. I could get another engine but I think it would be better to put the 80$ twords a new RC. When it came to this point I had decieded that I would get the HPI NitroMT2 .18 ss kit- that was before I read about the Schumacher Menace. I can't yet decide if I want the on road or the off road. My decison will be based on finding a new place to race.

In the mean time is there any way I could get more use out of my engine?
NitroStarFE .15
I was thinking of taking the sleeve out of the engine and pressing it into a tight hole in hard wood with the hopes that it would shrink the sleeve a tiny bit. Or maybe finding a place that would plate some more chrome on the inside of the sleeve. Is there a cheapo fix?

Or, you can come to Staten Island and take this OS .15 cv off my hands.
Has a brand new piston, rod, and sleeve....

or you could sell me the busted mt cheep and then take that money and go get a new rc..

If I remember correctly a p/s for the fe is only $40.00 on Tower and cheaper if you can find it on ebay.

Or else if you wanted to, ya could do the exhange program by HPI and get a new 15fe for $75. But like VB and Olds said, Id send it to O.sRocket and get it pinched. $20 is a good price

The pinch sounds like a good idea for 20$ why not.

Thanks
