Haven't made it to far in the build. Ran into an issue while building the rack. One of the screws was missing the hex hole. Of course it is a special type screw of which I have no extra. Associate said a week before I get it. Stinks! Have to start the shock build or something until it gets here.

I got the broken bolt for the rack today so I was able to make some progress tonight. Here are a few pics....

Nice start!! I REALLY like the gullwing suspension setup but look forward to RPM making arms for it. Because they hang so low they rub when under suspension and during jumping. Great start. Look forward to seeing what you will be powering it with.

Thanks man! I will take more pictures as I go. I was looking for RPM arms too as I always break the stockers at least once. It shouldn't be long before there out. I have a couple of options for power so I have to make a decision to make! Lol

I had a little more time tonight to work on the kit. The chassis is done and so is the transmission. Next is the shocks!

Finished up the kit for the most part today. I still need to solder up the motor, mount the speedo, and reciever and paint the body. I had my show body painted by NCNitro for the pictures!

With that body on it.......it's sure tough not to put it up on a shelf and have her just look pretty! There's something real nice about the look of a freshly finished kit! All of the aluminum is all shiny.....and the smell of brand new tires. .. Shame to get her dirty right!
