I came across this guy who prints bodies for crawlers https://flubrc.com/
I considered printing a body myself, but I have had way too many failures than good prints and I find the whole process very frustrating.
Very cool. Looks like he does some really good print work.

Looks good. How did you manage to bend the CF without splitting it?
It did split, but not thru. Put it into a bench vise, cracked a few layers until I got the angle i wanted. Any more it would break thru. At some point I may put resin on the seem to make sure it doesn't split, but it's tethered to the chassis, so good for now.

They actually sell that flat and expect you to bend it?

Yep, $11 off Amazon for a 10 inch square of 1mm thick sheet. It cuts with tin snips and then file/sand to get rid of splinters. The angle cracked the sheet, but didn't disconnect it, if it was located somewhere vulnerable, I'd add resin. It will bend to a point, notably fighting me as I was cutting it with snips.

If I wanted an integral bend, I'd have to do all the wet layup myself and nuts to that.

Oh, I see. You made that yourself. Very nice.

That was a tricky line for sure. Losi worm knocked it off with some solid side-hilling skills.
I knew it. You glue your trucks to the rocks! I was able to unphotoshop your pic to reveal your secret to these insane cliffhanger shots! 🤣

Great shot man. That belongs on the cover of a magazine.

When I was in Colorado, they had little shrubbery growing from the rocks like that. I was kinda fascinated by how it looked dead and alive at the same time, and how it was just growing through cracks between boulders. Such resilient little trees. Are those Junipers?
