Found a review of the Rc Products Design V2. This is a kit that converts any TC3 elec to a 4WD elec buggy. Review was pretty positive on the kit. I just ordered one and will update the build notes for you guys. I plan to put my second Novak GTB 5.5 in this. This is a good way to use a TC3 kit if you have a spare (Thanks, Ed) or if you are tired of yoru TC3 road car and want an elec off road.

Well, the kit is being shipped as of 1/16. I printed the build instructions already (thanks Ed) and I would have picked up the B4 shocks they recommend to use but my fav LHS was unexpectedly closed today. (Rob has a family death, real sad)

I'll update the build results and get a few pics of the start, mid point and finished product. Kit should be here about Monday.

Edit, just checked the USPS tracking site and it is in my town and enroute, so I take it that means I will have it tonight! Whooopeeee, and the wife is out tonight watching my niece's play! YEAAAHHHHHH!

Second edit, it just got here. Parts are a hybrid of various Associated parts and RC Products. The RCP parts are machined Delrin or CF. Very nicely done. I hope to get started this weekend. It all comes in one big ziploc bag plus the body/wing.

wow...I think I need that to be my new skatepaRK basher....I beat the snot out of my TC3 the last few days I went......200 is a bit much if it can't take any serious abuse though....I'd rather replace cheapy parts when I break em.....are you gonna really drive it hard? or is going to be like a grass field racer for ya???

Ill be waiting to here a review...from you on the bash ability of this kit...

I don't think it will take bashing very much. I plan to see if I can use ti over at SoCal Raceway on their indoor dirt track (elec only). If not, well, it becomes a desert basher.

Revo I thought a TC3 would be pretty weak and not take much bashing abuse.....man I was soooooo WRONG......seriously I've been jumping the hell out of mine...like 3-4 ft over a fun box.....I broke it before I could get the big jump on film but I will do it again.....the jumping hasn't busted anything yet...it's only been me slamming into walls at top speed...LOL....wonder why it breaks huh???

Let's see if I have this photo thing working. Here are some pics of the V2 and TC3 kit:

this isn't done yet???....C'mon pics and review???
and don't give us some lame "family" excuse...we know this is eating at you not having it done.....

If it would at least rain, I would have some down time to get into this. Until then, I am doing outdoor chores and working on the Revo.

OK...I'll wait....I'm on th eother end of that today...nice day out and I'm doing indoor chores......this sucks...
