RC in the movies!!!

i was just watching nascar in 30 seconds on speed. the guy had some nitro truggy of some sort. I'm not sure what it was, but it was there...sorry for not having much info on it

Was a big write-up in one of the airplane mags about the Cub in the movie "Alaska."

Never saw the movie, but thought they did a sweet job on the aircraft just to crash it.

what was that movie where they used an electric solid axle MT like a clod to drive up to a swimming pool and detonate a bomb with a bunch of guards around it,it was a diversion while they entered through some tunnels to rescue some chick. all I remember is it had drugs and a yellow H2 hummer jumping through buildings tring to escape from some big drug cartell. dang it,they mad more than one of these movies. it was like a trillagy,and some big action guy pretty much made the movie(not litteraly,just if it wasn't for him there wouldnt have been a move)?

Here is one I spotted recently while introducing my son to some classic horror movies.

In the movie Childs Play (gotta love Chucky), when the kid hides in his bedroom closet, there is a gold tub RC10 on his toy box.

On speed if anyone watched the Street Tuner Challenge the European team built a Sound Rover out of a Baja. It was pretty cool.

Time to resurect this thread. I was watching dirty jobs and Mike Rowe was driving a traxxas around a turkey farm with food in the bed. Had a traxxas radio. I think It was a stampede.

In transformers 2 the little decepticon (sp) was a RC monster truck before he turned into a robot lol. Dunno what it was though or if it was a hobby grade one.

Yes sir, that would be wheelie. Also anyone remember the movie Assasins with Stallone and Banderas from back in the day? Julianne Moore drives what looks like a Clod through the ventilation system.

I'm not sure what the chassis was, but I do believe that the body was Tamiya's Ford F350.

Someone mentioned earlier that the rc car in Deadpool was electric cause it didn't make any noise when it was sitting at Idle. This isn't entirely ture. Yes the car was electric but nitro engine sound effects were used in that scene. Watch it again if you dont believe me. There was an old movie from 1980 called Neighbors. It starred John Belushi and Dan Akroyd in one scene Dan Akroyd is flying an RC replica of the Red Baron's Triplane!
