Since we are at year's end I figured I would mention a topic hardly discussed, Insurance. I'm in the process of reviewing the current coverage I have and realized my collection has really grown! I increased my coverage to include my RC collection, tools, etc. In doing so I also took pictures of what I have and catalogued all the vehicles and RC related stuff I have. I just wanted to pass this along. It seems in this day and age we are seeing a lot of natural disasters and unfortunate home disasters. Just something to think about.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

That's such a great but over looked point about life. Pictures are worth a thousand words!

When we renovated our last house including the basement we added a bunch of HT gear.

I took pictures of everything at the time. Equipment, layout to show things in use, PC and office space including serial numbers of most things. Time to do it again as we've moved.

LiPo fires are getting the attention of insurance companies as well. A properly setup charging station or even a fire box for battery storage may help prevent a fire from spreading, but may also help support an insurance claim. With all the new LiPo powered stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if we see some policy changes soon.

Let me get this right... RC and ebike batteries are illegal and lipo batteries in 1:1 cars are required. 🤔

Seems like we are headed in the right direction here! 👍🙄
