I have an old Futaba 4pk and is it a good idea to use it to replace the transmitter and receiver in my arrma kraton? Will I notice anything different when running it?

a 4PK is going to be a lot nicer than the stock radio. It will mostly be the same tho

almost any other radio other than the oem will be a giant change

I would. At least once I had to tear in to it anywhere near the receiver. Otherwise I might run it on factory radio for a bit. Guess it just depends on if I have other more important RC stuff to work on.

You can buy a budget radio like a Flysky GT3b but if you have a 4PK already, I'm not sure why youd want to.
