radio system actin up

i got an airtronics mx-3 for my rs4 but today when i tried to get it up for the summer it kept actin up. when i turn the weheel left the car goes right and when i go for throttle it brakes. i checked that it wasn't touching wiht anything and that they all connected the right way but i can't figure it out. what can it be?

It sounds like the servo reversing on your radio is backwards, find out how to change the reversing settings on your radio and it should work fine.

If you used it last year, maybe you accidently switched the model # on it to something other than what you had programmed last year. If it's new, read the manual and learn about servo reversing.

Yeah dude... I think they hit the nail on the head. If you change that, you'll be good.

Actually what you'll need to do is to remove the servo horns from both servos. Then you'll need to turn them 180 degrees WITH the linkages still attached. Then you'll have to reattach them. Once you're done with that, you'll have to reprogram the EPA and you'll probably have to throw in some positive expo. Then reprogram your throttle curve. If you have ABS, you may no longer be able to use that. Sorry. I don't think I've ever heard of a more catastrophic case.


No, I'm just kidding. Just reverse your Ch1 and Ch2 servo directions and you'll be fine...

Well... it probibly was dead for a long time or maybe the batteries that were in it if you left them in had some wierd discharge thing going on while it sat and screwed up the memory... it's possible. Anything electronic is prone to failing.
