Oh yaa! After what seems like a long ass time I finally got it all done the way I always dreamed. I couldnt ask for more at this point. I got this truck for my birthday last year and put maby a half gallon on the whole truck in that time, which is now a little over a year. About 6 months ago I got a wild hair, after I got my new job to buy all the goodies I wanted to complete this sucker. So here it is done and time for the next project. Hop you all enjoy.

The only things I plan on doing down the line is to get the new traxxas hard ano chassie, and large fule tank when they come out. Other then that its pretty much ready to rip. Thanks for lookin!

Thats awsome. I have alot of the same parts for mine that has never been run. I am still getting more trying to build a bad a$$ basher.

And I believe olds97_lss is correct. That is how it is suppose to look. Minus the gawdy blue anodize that is so typical that is. jking but I hate the blue, all coming off of mine.
 
Thanks guys. I have dreamed of this for a long time lol. And yes this truck will see dirt, unlike someone eles's lol. jk man. I'm going to fire it up for the first time in a couple of minutes for the first break in tank, I can't wait.

Man that's a beautiful truck. I can't wait to get my hands on a platinum revo and give it the full treatment.
 
is the golden horizons good stuff i know it has a lifetime warrentee but is it good aluminum??
 
Seems to be good stuff. Looks good and feels strong. I doubt ill be able to break it with the stuff I'm doing with this truck. I just thought it looked better then black crap lol.

I just ran about a quater tank threw it yesterday, just barly giving it any gas, and befor I knew it my temps were 220 so I killed it. I'm trying to figuar out what plug works best right now. I dont know, but I have a feeling its going to be a screemer. I'm thinking about picking up a rb523 for my basher and comparing the 2 side by side. I probally will, it will just be a month to recoupe from this buy lol. This truck shure is pretty in the sun though.

Roughly 3 tanks into break into today, after playing hooky from school. I couldnt stand another day in the class, so this was a nice break.

So today i was out workin on the 3rd tank when i notice the back end saging. I thought what the hell i havent even done anything with this truck yet. So i bring it in only to find the GH shock ends flopping around. I'm kind of pissed, cause I started to think what if that happend during a race. I'm going to try lock tighting them on the shafts but if it still dosent hold I guess I'm back to stock shock shaft ends.
 
I can't really tell, there really sloppy to begin with, I dont know if it was the previous owner of them or thats just the way they come from the factory. Then to add more to the list, I'm siting there fixing the shocks, and look at my wing, and i lost a screw and plastic bushing on my tekno with mount. WTF is going on! :confused:
