These are actually Qualifier pics from this past Sunday (July 23rd).
This is round 1 of the Ohio Triple Crown @ K&B Racetrack. Unfortunately my camera battery died before the mains started... grrrrr...

Thanks for the compliments! It's a Canon EOS digital Rebel XT. I think it's 8.0 megapixel. I'm can't recall offhand the manufacturer of the lens but it like 75-300mm I think. It's my wifes, I don't know crap about these fancy cameras except I can get really really close :).

Lens is a Tamron 28-300mm

not extremely far from you. you take I-90 West till you get to the N. Kingsville exit. Hang a left and procede south for a few miles. The track is set back from the road but the entrance is just past the Gageville methodist church. It's on the right side. There is a small white sign at the road where the entrance is.

P.S. the pictures of the track on the homepage are not current. they recently changed it, the triple crown race was the first weekend ran on it.. I imagine we'll run the current layout for a few more weeks

those are some sweet pics. my wife is starting to get into that hobby, so maybe i will get her to take some pics for me. :whip:

That's closer than where i went to get fireworks!!!! Is there a lot of people racing there.

How many are beginning racers. I've never raced before, are they beginner friendly?

I just got into racing this season so I'm pretty new as well. Very newbie friendly. I generally see about a dozen or so buggy's. They also run an MT/Truggy class and 1/10 truck. Including myself I'd say there's 3 or 4 beginners in Buggy class. Assuming I don't break or have tech problems I've been running around 3rd in the B-main. I don't think I'll be racing this week though.. kinda tight on money. However, I may show up with my little one just so I can take pictures.

That's awesome...i'll have to check it out. A new track just opened up in Waterford, PA...like 8 miles south of 90 off exit 24...

I'll have to check all of these out.

They have some pretty killer track ideas. I like that 45 degree "burm" with the divider about half-way up.
