question on the kanai III engine

there is no 'kanai III' engine....you'll need to be way more specific than that...what kind of fuel are you using, and hows the weather around there...

There are 2 Sirio engines wearing Yucchi's name. The Kanai and the Kanai Evo 2 that has yet to hit the shelf. The Kyosho Kanai III 1/8th scal buggy kit does not come with an engine as it is a serious racers kit.

Tower Hobbies mislabled that as it is the Sirio Kanai #1 Edition, is the true name. The new engine as I mentioned in the Kanai Evo 2. Error runs that engine and I am sure if you PM him he would hook you up like a tow truck.

To my knowledge it comes with a standard, and turbo head buttons so which one do you have installed? What is your evelavation in regards to sea level?

well i dont even have the buggy yet, and last question i dont know, i will go ask error on what he is running

OS #8, on a standard head. I usually run Duratrax Gold plugs in my old Hyper 8P and Outlaw 26, but I didn't want to catch hell for putting one in a Sirio. So far I have not had any problems with the 8's, but it seems like when it gets some use on them the tune gets off (or won't start). Fresh plugs run great though. I guess it's due to the higher grade of mill that makes it act that way. After about 1+ gallons, I'm on my second plug (not counting the breakin plug). As a side note, I'm burning Blue Thunder Race 20% in all my rides.

thanks error you are the man, i hope by the end of summer i can get my buggy. its going to cost me $1800

I will agree with Error on that.. If you change the plug a little more frequenty it will hold its tune better.. I'm running Odonnell 20%, use OS #8 plugs, and run the standard head.. The engine is a great performer and I could not be happier with the mill.. I think you'll like it.
