Well I have realized it is probably going to be better for me with my limited time to just stick with what I know a little about and that is electrics.

I bought a couple of rides from here. He RC10-GT with all the gear and I bought some extras off ebay and I never could get it running. I am 99% sure it is because I suck at nitro and just can't get it going. Bought off someone here with great feedback so I am pretty sure its not dead.

I also bought a T-Maxx with a Sirio .18 which again I could not get running so I decided I would 'break it down' to clean it and never got to putting it back into one piece.

My question is I want to get rid of this stuff, but I am not sure how to list them for sale. I will guarantee they are not DOA and refund if there was anything wrong with them but I don't want to piss anyone off.

I did bring them into the only local shop I have around and was pretty much blew off when I asked for help in tuning it, I even called ahead of time and got the same thing a second time so I am kind of at a loss.

Any suggestions would be great, not sure if the mods will do something where I could paypal them and they could paypal me when the buyer verifies everything works and then send it to me (I would pay all middle mans paypal fees of course) or what.

Any suggestions would be great and sorry if this is the wrong area, I just had a bad feeling about listing without asking for suggestions first.

I have great feedback at ebay, CA.com and a few here also I believe.

Thanks in advance!

Heres what I would do if I were you. Clean the rigs up, the RC10 GT is one piece? If so, clean it all up, take some detailed photos if it and everything included, give a description as honestly as possible, pretty much like you did here. Most people buying a used nitro rig assume the mill is going to need help, no matter what the seller says. But be honest, guarantee that it is complete, and what they will recieve but do not guarantee the condition of the engine, merely state is has an engine but running condition is unknown. As far as the maxx is concerned, they are a tough sell these days anyway, one that is in pieces will be even tougher. If you can put it back together that would be your best bet, if not you may do better parting it out, especially since it is all apart anyway, you may make more money on it anyway that way. I would be happy to try and talk you through tuning either mill if you need help getting them running. Whatever you decide good luck with your sale!

Thanks, I will get the RC10GT cleaned up and see what I can pull off with the Maxx this weekend :)

Clean everything you want to sell completely.

Spray all black plastic parts with WD-40 and wipe off the excess. This makes them look new.

You get top dollar for used rc gear that is clean and shiny. Lets the buyer know you actually care about your gear.

Yeah I got the RC10GT dirtier than I would have sent it out and bought the Maxx from someone at RC Universe that sent it to me with mud stuck to it which is why I took it apart and I guess just kind of got in over my head.

You think I would be better of selling the Sirio .18 by itself and the Maxx as a roller (That is everything but engine right) than selling it as one?
