Really cool old school rigs. But large scale has advanced light years beyond those at this point. The FG formula one cars for example, are incredible.
 
I love the amount of detail put into these cars. Simply amazing.

I found this very interesting, and informative, I mean have you ever tried to read an FG catalogue, half of it is in German.

Although this video did make me want a 1/4 scale Indy car, what I'll always want is a 1/4 scale kit of a 1950s-ish F-1 car, or Shelby cobra coupe.
 
The ones in the video are 1/4 scale midget racers, so the 50s era indy cars of that design would be a LOT bigger than the ones shown.
I believe the midgets are about 1/3 the size of the real thing, and these are 1/4th of that.
 
I love these vintage kits. so cool to see how it was back in Rolex's great great great grandsons day! :p

Absolutely fantastic- it really shows how much care, time and attention people are prepared to spend on the RC hobby.
