Hi. Team associated rc10gt pull starter broke and not sure how universal they are. String broke, but it doesn’t have the handle so the string makes blisters.

Anyone know of a good fix? By the way, I’m a new old rc guy, been out a while, not up to speed…this was a garage sale car, I got fresh fuel, cleaned carb, new glow plug, it started for a second then it broke lol….thanks!
 
Yes sure they can still be bought today, depending on your backplate. Just make sure the distance between the screws are correct. please don't electric swap it!!!!!!!!! (!)
 
Thanks all. It is a 15 or 1.5? Still learning…
I do have the spring and housing, just missing the pull handle and rope. Was thinking it may be tired so an all new setup wouldn’t be a bad thing.
