Ok people, here is the low down.

As of recent, a couple of people were banned. Some have asked why? And others have asked Why not sooner?!?

I just want to be really clear about something first and foremost. RCNT is by far one of the MOST laid back and tolerating sites out of many that I know. That being said, let me continue.

RCNT has very few rules, and most of the ones we have were created AFTER the site was, in order to prevent future outbreaks of something bad that may have happened.

The bottom line always comes down to SIMPLE bullshit that could have EASILY been prevented had someone taken the time to THINK before they typed.

Calling someone names, to be bitter, spiteful or just plain an butthead, will not be tolerated. Period. Do you think ANYONE here WANTS to deal with someone launching a personal attack against ANYONE? NO! We dont have TIME to be wasting chasing this CRAP down. If any of you guys want to blast someone, I suggest picking up the phone and do it like a man. If you can't, then at least keep it in EMAIL or Private Messages. DO NOT clutter the site with it.

It really is common sense guys (and gals if any are around these days). Just be nice. If you can't be, then dont post at that moment. Wait until you can be.

We are mostly all grown adults here and are completely capable of acting as such.

Just use common sense and the best will prevail.

This has been a public service announcement # one-million-four-hundred-and-seventy-eight-thousand-two-hundred-and-twelve.

Thanks in advance,
-Chris

I have stuck this thread so that people continue to read it. What Chris has stated here in some rather polite terms is a ton of good advice. Bottom line think before you click that submit reply button or expect to reap the whirlwind when the war starts.

Funny thing, there was a perfect example of this happening in a thread that was in the nitro engine section. It's now located in FFA, and a new member is on the radar. We have a pretty high tolerance level for most stuff, but some things we don't let slide. Just ask some of the guys with the red tag under their names.

error thanks for the back up. i needed that. i was wondering were that thread went .thanks bro

I've been known to talk a little poop from time to time, sometimes it just comes out sorta like typing turet(spell)syndrome.I just hope it dosnt get like the traxxas forum.lol:cheerful:

trust us, it won't. Check the latest threads in FFA to see what kind of behavior is frowned upon.

Talking smack is part of the hobby, and life, but most folks can tell when it's over the line. And even if they can't, well, that's when we step in.

I must appologize for being one of those that walked the line.
I got into it with one of the banned ones when I shouldn't have.
I guess they just pushed the right button. Anyways I appologize, and it won't happen again.
I enjoy this forum very much and was about to abandon it when the incident occured, glad I didn't.

lol jonser!

No chance in HELL of that EVER happening man. We would NEVER! And its not that we even are trying to curb the swears, violence against animals or all that funky poop we see from time to time. We ARE however trying to keep this place comfortable to all. When some users take it upon themselves to run someone down like a schoolyard bully, make them feel like poop for buying something (and I mean personal attacks), or talk smack about their momma (in seriousness), well, we just have to draw the line.

Again, its common sense.

I am seriously looking forward to the Bash..... we are talking about R/C right? LOL

On a serious note. If you treat everyone here like you treat the guys ya hang out with everything will be cool... you can have fun.... bust a little balls .... and play with toys...

As I'm sure you all know, common sense isn't as common as you might think. I work with a lot of idiots that I can't believe make it to work wearing clothes or make it to work at all for that matter.

I guess that's why there's a reason for moderators... that and you give out free stuff from time to time.
