ps3 question...again

I use an hdmi cable at home on my ps3 but dont have the net, so I brought it to my office where I have internet and am hooking it up to a tv with the regular cables (yellow, red and white) but it wont ever work, on either of the input 1 or 2 channels? Is my cable bad? I've tried it on 2 different tv's with no picture or sound. My moniter doesn't have a hook up or id use it.

You have to switch the video output on the PS3 to non-HDMI, but in order to do that, you'll need to hook it up to a HDMI display.
