Project Zorro 4s and beyond

Changed the ESC from 3s to 4s the speed difference is 40mph 3s 60 mph 4s. I was surprised. I know I need to do some more mods on the car. But is extraordinarily tough.

What KV motor are you running? And gearing? If your going to speed bigger pinion smaller spur

3450 KV motor 20t pinion. Would a 6s ESC be too much for the motor? I know the centre drive system is super tough. Had to raise the body though because of ballooning tires. I need to think about different wheels.

No, it can only handle 4s any higher you risk blowing the motor

What 6s combo would you recommend? Also, any thoughts on wheels that can handle both dirt and road? Unlike other ftx cars, because of its centre drive, it can do speed cornering without rolling over.

you're going to destroy parts on that thing with 6S but if you're gonna do it go with the Castle Mamba Monster 2 ESC and 2200kv combo.

Perhaps I can put on a combo like that, still run it on 4s and experiment with other stronger upgrade parts.
