YOU SUCK! I was just trying to order the white one, but HeliDirect's website is having a conniption fit. I can't get the cart to load, so I can't checkout.

Can't wait to see it installed

Hahaha. I kinda wasn't sure about sharing a picture because I knew you was getting one. I didnt want to "beat you" to it. But had to share my excitement.

I will probably de anodize the links and maybe the skid. Too much blue going on...need some contrast.

By the way... that is the pro chassis kit or whatever right? Does all that come with it? Or are there extra parts purchased there?

Yea its the pro kit with links. I read a review that the person said his links didnt come blue. he said they were silver. I was hoping for the same outcome but they came blue as they should. I was going to use treal links like my daily driver rig but I wanted the ability to mount the shocks on the links for this new build.

Amazon. When I buy stuff it's usually from who can deliver it first. As long as it's within reason as far as price goes.

Test fit. VERY happy with the quality of this thing. No tweaking at all. Everything just falls into place snug.

@Hammer Down - what shocks did you get for yours?

Body fits perfectly. Ok safe to say that their CNC machine is working properly.
Next will be lexan sponsor plates that I plan to also extend up and into the fender area to conceal the open gap.

Just in case anyone is looking to buy the Rampart chassis kit...

I think I'm going to buy just the white chassis without the links. My only concern is it looks like Furitek changed the design of the skid plate at some point.

I also noticed there is an extra piece in the second pic... looks like a servo mount?

I assume the second pic is the newer design. It makes sense, because with the other flat plate design, there is no place to mount the links, so you lose any triangulation (and articulation) of the lower arms.

@N. Mango - can you show a pic of yours from the bottom, once you get the drivetrain installed?

Well that explains it.

I dunno. Helidirect doesn't say anything about that kit being for the SCX24 transmission. Different sites have different pics for part #2242, which is supposed to be the kit for the Smasher, with nothing stated about an SCX24 trans.

Same part numbers, different pics. Who is right?
