The truck was a hit with the race crowed. Everyone was trying to get a look at it while I was attempting to get ready for the race. The pressure was on now. it looked great but will it preform? I haven't even bashed with it yet.

That's awesome, I wish people looked at my ntc3 like that.

Congrats on the uptime Eddy! What shock mount did you blow? The RC-Solutions one? Or the shaft-end? I know you said shaft side but I'm confused.

Stock front shaft?

Lastly, check out the RRP hardenned steel kit. It meshed VERY well tonight. Just got finished putting together the following:

Racers Edge Alum. Tranny Case
RRP HSteel Top Shaft
RRP HSteel Primary Gear
RRP HSteel FOC
RRP HSteel Double Disc Slipper (had to get new one for smaller ring)
New Bearrings throughout

Went together VERY well!

Now a couple more minor mods and I should be able to begin final assembly!!!!!

I blew the bottom shock ends on the right side on the last lap of the 1sh heat. popped the end off the ball and over the washer. I believe the extra flex from the RPM arm caused this. I'm sure using offset wheels had nothing to to with the additional flex. That damn wall kept getting in the way. I was using the stock Losi ends and will change to the RPM.

I still haven't dug into the transmission to find out why it quit moving. I can only guess what it will look like :constipat

Christian, I can't wait to hear how that .26 is performs.

Eddy, congratulations on the finished product. You even got to race it. That's awesome. The free "inksale.com" ad had me rolling on the floor in laughter.

I have an idea for one or both of you.

All of us at RCNT are busting to see a video. I'm sure we're not the only ones. Anyone that doesn't know what the cybermaxx product is would just flip out. I think a video of either truck or both or would get passed around the Internet almost as fast as free porn.

MY IDEA: Eddy and or Christian take video and send it to the guys at FRC (they make this sh_t look good). The end product would show the websites for http://www.frequency-rc.com/, www.rc-solutions.com, and www.rcnitrotalk.com.

This would benefit all parties involved. RC-Solutions gets the word out about their obviously awesome product. RCNT gets a little airtime. FRC lets the world see how talented they really are. Maybe other projects would stem from this one, giving them a little green for their time.

Then again… maybe I'm just be letting hot air out my orifice again...

I'm all about the vid! All I need is a camera man, or woman, as my kids will probably end up doing it hehehe......

I should have my ride done this week.

Hey, guys. I'm sorry I didn't check this thread out before. One of our goals at FRC was to create reviews on products out there for RC's. The guys at RC Solutions contacted us about our review of the RCX. We asked if we could write up a review and shoot the cyber maxx for a vid. We are just getting things together to build and shoot our own cyber maxx. Mike and I knew Christian and FastEddy were building their maxx, but we didn't mean to get ahead of you guys on the vid idea.

So this is what I propose. We're planning on shooting a vid reviewing the cyber maxx (It'll be longer than our current vids). If you guys have footage of your TMaxx's then send it to me and I will include it (with proper credit to the TMaxx owner, cameraman, etc.). What do you think?

I would love to work together on this.
If you guys are building one up please feel free to ask questions and share your experience with us.

I'm not as graceful with a vid cam as you guys bit I plan on taking some footage with the DV.

Ed I'm cool with that! Yeah, and we're going to need help on building this thing as far as what other parts we may need. And if you need help with the camera work let me know, email me and I'll give you some pointers.

Here is a tribute to Stock Traxxas Parts.
I was in to much of a hurry to get my truck up and running that I didn't waite until my spur gear came for my RRP double slipper.

What I think happened is:
My stock slipper froze and the transmission was taking the brunt of race day. Jumping and the torque of the .21 caused a train wreck with everything down-line took a dump.

I now have upgraded my Spur / slipper and the transmission gears all to RRP.

I guess my vid idea wasn't as original as I had thought. I can't wait to see a cybermaxx vid done by FRC.

Eddy, damn those gears are roasted.

How much heavier does the cybermaxxx make the T-Maxx? I read someplace that T-Maxxes are 10+ pounds to start with. A 1/8 scale buggy is only 7-8 to start with and they have .21 engines. Seems like the cybermaxx would be kinda slowish if it's heavier than 10 lbs.

***UPDATE***

I'm going to have this pig complete by Tuesday! Woot!

I made my first 'custom' r.c. part ever today. Ill have a wheelie bar on this thing. Sweeeet......

I can't wait any longer for my new diff internals so I'm going to go with the stock internals and hopefully have my spares done in time. ImBroken sold me a KICKASS set of HardCore diff cases. Those will be armed with Maxximizer Alum Cups and RRP Ring, Pinion and spider gears. My Dynamite cases that are going on now have the stock internals in the front and the Traxxas Diff lock in the rear. I just hope they hold up for a little while anyhow.

The new RPM knuckles will be on there too!

I hope you are bringing it to the RCNT meet in August, Christian. What a great place for an unveiling, eh?
