That's gonna be awesome when you get the whole thing together and bring it to the hobby shop...everyone is gonna :OMG:

Make sure we get some pics and a video of that bad boy in action. :) Just a thought but with no body on the CyberMaxx it is going to be exposed to the elements of bashing more than a regular T-Maxx would. It this something you are going to worry about? Have you considered getting some lightweight aluminum and skin it?

I wont skin it - however, I'm going to size up the Escalade body today and see if that fits. You can still cut the front of a Stock maxx body and cover the front half easily. Of coarse, the bed of the body wont fit. So hopefully the Escalade will. Maybe even the Gravedigger body. I'm taking it in today so I will have an answer for certain.

A standard Maxx body will fit after cutting out the bed.
Many other bodys can be used with a small amount of modifications. I'm sure rc-solutions will come up with some alternative solutions as well.

First off, those trucks are looking BADDDDD=devil but my question is, how are planning on starting that thing Christian? I see you have that roto start but was the Picco a pull start and you just replaced the backplate or how does that work? After seeing these pictures I may be on for yet another project myself but I want alternatives to a pull start.

The Trucks are really nice. As far as bodies go I used an Ford F-350 4 door extended body. This allowed me to leave the bed of the truck attached. I would send you some pictures but I am not sure where it wondered of to.

Sure... Del...
We have all heard that one before. Thats the oldest line in the book. Scott sent pics of his. As to this point you have the elusive un-seen Cyber-Maxx. Its kind of like the Easter Bunny, Does it really exist?
:jk: Man I'm feeling cocky this-morning.

Here is the body I'm looking to use.
Each one is custom formed. They are not mass produced.
Made of .040 Lexon I think it should hold up. The best part is they are made in my home town.

From what I hear he can leap a Budweiser Suitcase in a single bound.:trashed:

Working on the final build-out of my CyberMaxx (Minus the upgraded diffs.)
I found that the aftermarket drive-shafts are not compatible with this kit.

RC-Solutions was kind enough to supply a rear drive-shaft with the kit.

I found that some of the original T-Maxx parts wont work. I needed to use the 2.5 parts. The parts I am using include the brake pad retainer and the output yokes Make sure you use the 2.5 parts designated with an X after the part number.

I did make one modification. I used a drive axel and cut it about 1/4th of an inch longer than the stock 2.5 front drive-shaft and used it in place of the stock. The stock output shaft was a bit to extended for my liking. I believe this will ad more strength.

I should be braking it in this weekend.:w00t:

A few pics of the finished project.:w00t:
I posted 20 or so more in my gallery.
Take a look.
I feel like a proud father.

VERY nice work there Eddy! I like the mount point for the THS better on yours than where I placed mine. Great work!

Now lets see you beat the snot out of that thing!

That truck is the smooooooth pimp! Now I want to see video of it pulling a triple lindey. It's people like you that make all of us at RC Solutions look good.

I'm on the 6th tank of fuel and this thing is still taking a nap.
even at this point its crazy fast! 66/23.

I should have it up to running speed sometime today, another 10 or so tanks for brake-in. If all goes well I should be doing my first major repairs by this time tomorrow.

I got my engine fully broken in and its a screamer.
I managed to brake the pull-start and headed to the only LHS open on Sunday. When I got there they were about 30 minutes away from having a race. I bolted on the new pull start and entered.

The truck was a hit with the race crowed. Everyone was trying to get a look at it while I was attempting to get ready for the race. The pressure was on now. it looked great but will it preform? I haven't even bashed with it yet.

8 Trucks in the race, a mixed bag of T-Maxx and Savages. The first heat was fun, I had no issues of driveability it handled and felt like a T-Maxx as far as the chassis and suspension goes. Gearing was way off for a small track 66/23. I should have tried a few teeth less on the bell.

I took 2nd place 4 laps in-front of 3rd. The competition wasn't that stiff from the rest of the pack. I managed to brake 1 shock mount on the shaft side. (NEED TO GET SOME RPM)

Second heat I took second again but this time something was wrong...... Much less power I wasn't clearing the triple on the last 3 laps. Got to the pits and my suspicions were confirmed. I blew the front drive shaft, Gonzo, nada, track trash.

I didn't have time to replace the shaft for the main it was only 4 minutes from the 2nd heat. I decided to run it Sport Maxx style for the main. I'm not sure what happened but on the 4th lap, no go. Engines revving trucks not moving.

I haven't dug into the trany yet but I'm sure I'm going to find parts of parts and pieces of parts all over the inside.

I had a hell of a time and the truck handled beautifully on the track. The balance is great, it flies like a kite and lands well. The best part of the air-time is that it corrects in the air like an 8th and is responsive to the pilots commands.

I did manage to flip it forward sideways backward and do several cartwheels. The cage preforms great. when landing on the top it will right itself 90% of the time. Can you say better lap times.
