I have started my Cen Sicario winter truck project. The plow arrived today, some assembly required (and absolutely no real instructions).

These were the only instructions, so, it took a bit of trial and error to get it right.

Servo's installed. It took a bit to figure out the angle servo had to go in on the bottom of the frame, or it wouldn't raise and lower.

Next step was getting the blade mounted to the frame. These black plastic spacers were a pain to get to stay in place, so I finally super glued them to the blade.

Blade finally mounted.

All assembled, and rods adjusted.

I can't mount it on the truck yet because the frame of the truck is too wide, so, tomorrow I am going and get some angle or maybe even flat metal with holes in it to mount to the truck frame, and then mount the plow to that. Worst part, it's supposed to snow quite heavily over night tonight.

This is how the plow is supposed to mount to the frame.

This is the piece those rods mount to, and you can see how it's not wide enough to fit the frame of the truck. That piece with the holes is the plow mount that it comes with, and, it's almost small enough to fall through the frame of the truck. There is probably a 1/2 inch gap between the frame and those rods, on each side.

The plow is finally mounted on the truck. It took some enginuity figuring it all out though. I went to Lowe's and got some of these plates:

Then, modified the original plastic front hitch mount to mount the plates to:

However, by the time it was actually finished, I had to remove both the center part of the metal plate, and the hitch mount, so all I ended up with was the two square pieces on either side of the original piece. Those two pieces you have to have to mount the front sway bar/anti rollbar to. This is what I ultimately ended up with.

It's at least finally mounted to the truck.

Now I just have to work on figuring out the radio settings, since, currently, I only have full right angle, full left angle and center, and full down or full up. It will work that way, but, it would be nice to have full left and right control. I paired it with the HotRC 8A, and, in my 5 minutes of testing, seems to work the way I was hoping it would.
