do you think the center shafts from the x-factor would work since they can telescope. try it they are cheap:llama:

they are really heavy aluminum with a universal joint on either end and they have an aluminum sleve in the center that alows them to telescope. the only problem you might have is that they might be too long and I'm not sure how to get the brake hex on to it
