Great Idea,
I will give it a shot this evening.

Welcome to the forum Scott.
Its been great talking to you on the phone.

You will find that the users here at RCNT are believers in customer service. I must say your willingness to support your product is the best I have seen industry wide.

Update

I reversed the servo saver setup and it solved the tank screw issue. At this time it looks as if it will function well. As I look at the setup I believe that it may even be stronger than the original. With the control arm shorter it will be much stronger.

I used a threaded rod I had on hand but will get a TI turnbuckle next time I make it to the LHS.

Thanks for the idea ScottM

Thanks for the awesome feedback and field-testing experience. We can't try everything, so we need you guys to play with different parts combinations and put in stupid-big engines. Our first priority has always been functionality. Anodizing will come soon, but not until everything else is right.

Some random thoughts. The skids are thin, and some bulkheads will need chamfering of the screw holes. Christian: metric flat head screws are a 90° countersink. Send me your logo file and we will engrave it on the superknives for you. We are cutting the new cybermaxx cage for tall engines now, and I will send them out to you guys tomorrow. I tried to get a cooler name, but jackrag and assmaggot were taken.....

Chris reserved all the good name for himself.
The best one is StinkyTunaFinger.

Damn that guy is cool! Where can I buy something from them! I would love my logo engaved damn Christian first the Inferno now this! I guess some of us just live a blessed life. I need an industry plug. I got plenty of my own product.

I sense an opportunity for shameless self-promotion. Go to rc-solutions.com, and just ignore the typos and odd syntax. Then go to Superknives.com! Oh, and we also have some sick video - t-maxxes clearing huge jumps, including a 30 foot dirt bike double jump. I'll send a cd to Christian one of these days.

Welcome to the forum scott.Hey FastEddy That Chassis looks awsome..Is it the cybermaxx chassis ?

With a quote like this "What can we say; all of our products come from our inability to drive!" I say its time to BUY! I really diggin those spring steel skids. I just my drop my HCR's to give them a try.:w00t:

Yes Tiny,
This thread is dedicated to the Cyber-Maxx.
Both Chris and I are building them.

Don't even think twice if your considering the skid plates
GET THEM!
You can order direct from scottm.

No I think I am sold already I had never heard of spring steele until you told me about it last time. I am getting them need go look how much since I got about $150 to spend on hobbies until next check. I got to buy a house so I had to put myself on a $600 a month RC budget. Its still pretty nice but I was spending over a grand.

$600/month? DAMN!!

Spending a grand a month is a bit much what did you buy a new rc a week?

Yeah thankfully I have one of those good paying jobs. And they actually keep me around. Shoot all I do all day is chat and look at midget porn

:jk:

To Mayhem: I couldnt tell you where it all went( I was including tools and gas. I bought some pricey tools like a air compressor Dremel and who knows how many different tips. All I know is I started in December and I have have a whole bedroom dedicated to the hobby and it kinda looks like a hobby shop with all the stuff!

And enough about what i spend we just hijacked this awesome thread so back to the CyberMaxx!

humboldtblazer: ever think of doing the cybermaxx your self?

I am moore interested in making my Maxx a light weight racer (not like I can race) but a racer non the less. I chose key parts of my truck to make tuff. The rest I have to save weight like a mofo. I am down to a little over a 7.5lb T-maxx and I have a Ti chassis and skids. I would never get a rool cage as it would be way too much weight! Maybe a derilin rollcage would be light enough? Maybe I should just buy another Maxx huh?
