Well i got a brushless motor and ESC for my birthday today, but so far i havnt been able to use it. I dont know how to programme it properly, i read the booklet and tried to follow what it says on there, but i havnt had any luck with it. I did everything it says and yet it still wont work. I would take it to my LHS but they're closed on sundays, so i may have to wait until tomorrow before i can use it.
So instead i thought i would ask here to see whether i could get to use it today. :)
Its a Carsons 12t brushless motor.

I don't see a manual for it on the web.

What doesn't work?

Tell us what programming steps you have taken.

It came with an instruction booklet that tells you step by step how to programme it. I've programmed it how it says, and yet still nothing. I had to synchronise the controller with the transmitter, select the battery type, set the brake performance, set the drag brake, set the dead band, and the pre-programmed driver profiles.

Does the steering work? Do you have the ESC plugged into the throttle port of your receiver? When you were programming the ESC did it do it's normal beeps/ lights flashing as you programmed it?

The steering does work. It is plugged into the right place because i plugged it in where the old ESC was. I'm not sure whether it has meant to bleep, but there is one light that is on.

Re-calibrate the ESC to your TX again. Reset to default settings first until you can get it to move, then start programming.
