Problems with the ESC

I'm building a emaxx. The heart is a savage flux motor and flux blur esc. I am having problems connecting my remote to the esc. Iv looked but can't find out how to sync the two together.

you need to look up on youtube how bind the transmitter to the receiver. what tx/rx are you running?

Stock traxxas rx and reciver

hold your set button on your controller then turn it on . it should blink red. then on your car hold the link button then turn your esc on . after you turn the esc on let the link button go and you should have a link with your car.hope this helps.

I don't believe i have a set button. I have the old TQ3 remote and the 2215 receiver

i am not sure but if you have the same color crystal in your tx as you have in your rx than i think it should work. check your crystals and if they are the same then maybe one of them is damaged.
