I'm new to nitro and I'm having problems getting my engine to run. I have a xxx-nt with a picco .12 on it. The truck is used and the motor is broken in. The guy i purchased it from was using only 10% nitro but i bought 20%. I adjusted the carb to recommened factory settings. I have to plug the exhaust port on the muffler to get it to start. I checked the fuel lines and they seem to be free. When it starts it will idle for a few seconds then die. I kept trying, and it would idle a little longer then it would let me ease the truck around for a second then die again. The last time I tried it started and then then it reved really high constantly( enough to engage the clutch and move the truck!) I would appreciate any help any of you could offer thanks! If I left out any needed info that would help, let me know!

Cols omeone please direct me somewhere I might find n answer to my problem?

When you're trying to start it, did you put fuel in the carb and then start it? Then did it just die?

Cuz if it's that, then it' just not getting fuel from the tank to the carb.

I'd try bringing up the idle just a little bit and try seeing if it'll idle. Once you get it idling, pinch the fuel line close to the carb. If the engine dies within 2-3 seconds, then your LSN is set properly.

That'll help get you started.
