hey, my mini 4wd nitro buggy's front wheels will barely move, causing the engine to overheat when ran, and at full throttle, it only goes like 5 mph (thats how much they wont move) there has to be something resisting the drivetrain, but i dont know what it is, can someone plz help? i really want it up and running soon but I've been waiting for weeks for answers on other sites, but still now results. please help me out here.:(:(:(:(:(:(

Maybe be a stupid answer but.....look to see if theres anyrocks or little sticks in the drivtrain or driveshafts. Its what happened to mine

front diff maybe? when is the last time youve checked/serviced your diffs?

I would say front diff or something is hanging up on the front tires. Do you need a shim behind the wheels like some rigs? Maybe that might help. Or possibly the front bearings?

I pulled the brake off my chaos cause it was locking up the drivetrain. I only bash so theres no need for a brake.

for safety reasons alone there is always need for a brake!!!!! not to mention your $$$ going down the tubes due to a crash that could have been avoided by brakes

you need to start from the end and work your way in. take the wheels off and try it, then take out the dog bones and try again. it could be the bearings in the carriers, or in the diff.

With the car off can you turn the wheels by hand? if so do they spin freely or are they all bound up?
