Does anyone happen to know of any RC clubs or race tracks or even anything like that? I'm in Hagerstown MD but I'm even willing to travel a little bit. I'm just getting back into it the last couple months and don't really talk to anyone. I am going on 4 years clean and I'm just feeling safe and good about making some new friends finally! Sorry for the whole life story also I have a what I think is the fastest car around now LMAO! It started as a 2wd stampede but is just a ME now lol

Loco Joe's race season is just beginning again in April and I'll be spending lots of time there as well. Oval racing looks boring but it's more fun than it looks as it's a different type of skill. I've been to 997 RC once and it's a great place. I want to go more often but I have to pick and choose as I can't be in two places at once unfortunately.

Wow, I see Hagerstown MD and it brings back memories.
I was stationed at Fort Ritchie and loved it there.
If you don't have Google earth on you computer I recommend it.
It's a great tool for finding places to run.

WOW! Thanks everyone! I was expectand ing maybe one response!! I'm thinking of trying 997 first I think I'm closest to that. There is a place (Hagerstown Moped) right up the street from me and they actually have about everything when it comes to stock Traxxas parts and a few team associated things. That's where I got my original stampede. But I ordered all the after market aluminum parts. I got my Velinion power system there also. The 3500. That's awesome to get so many responses! Thank you again!

I hit 50mph yesterday and was messing with gearing a little bit. I starting to think just the basic smaller spur bigger pinion to go faster doesn't work for every rig mine was running faster with a 86/19 combo than a 76/31.

Sorry I'm still figuring this out a lot of times I guess I do something wrong it says oops can't post all the time lol

This is without body where I'm at now. Actually switched to a rustler chassis and it made a world of difference with flipping over! Now it just spins out instead of tumble salting lol
