is there anyway to print your own decals off of your home computer printer? If so, what kind of paper is needed and where to get it from? I have Canon inkjet printer and also a noncolor laser printer. I would like to be able to print colored decals from my inkjet printer. Has anyone done this before?

I do it all the time. In fact, the headlights and grille on this car were printed out on my printer:

The paper I bought at an Office Depot or something similar. Clear decal paper can be purchased at www.papilio.com.

Check out the kit at www.decalgear.com.

This is what I use. Comes with the paper, templates, and more. You can import your own logos (I make custom license plates, "driver names" for race cars, and more...

You can find a starter version of it, labeled with the Testors brand at Wal-Mart for around 6 bucks. I bought the mega-pak for all the flames, stripes, and so on.

They are meant for 1:18 or so plastic models, but you can scale them up or down.
