Unless, this has all been a ruse to make people want to go get the magazine. In which case thats just shady tactics IMO.

As confirmed on page 4:

And I also know that bad press is sometimes better than good press. Which means if I'm arguing with people that creates more interest in the magazine. Tricky SOB aren't I.

Derek, The only issue I've had with any of your posts in this thread have been the mentioning of the "device" (which there is no point on discussing further) and now the attitude you have adopted. Yes, some here have attempted to call you out. Many others have given you and your magazine praise. Everyone just needs to REALX dammit!!!

Eddy, if memory serves me correctly, that is Woodie's C-ock.

Jon, maybe its just me but telling me i wont like it just makes it all that more interesting.

Woodro, hot chicks riding ponys would be a great addition to the site.

Sweet, pictures of your baboons ass are not welcome here.

Eddy, while that is a very pretty pony it only proves you are a VERY disturbed man.

Andy, you need to be more concerned with getting your product to your customers than worrying about a free fuel bottle.:whip: :whack: :trout: just fuggin wit ya!

I'll take the miss quote. I'm not arguing to be a SOB and make people look at the magazine, but I'm for sure not going to stop when people keep asking me for more. Like I said talk makes people aware of lots of things.

I haven't adopted any new attitude. I actually have this one from day one, so I don't change :)

Robriguez.... go for it. You will never look at a woman and NOT remember that show.....YuK!

Mod. feel free to remove this if you want

inertia style Dynos which as far as Dynos go they are the least accurate which would explain why very few people use them any more. The problem with them is the fixed value for the load + HP=(mass)*(acceleration)*(distance traveled/ /time of test). from H/P,Torque can be figured by the RPMs (Torque=H/P*oooo/RPM) pulling that almighty H/P figure . Based on the value set on the load that H/P number can be very missleading And if some RC engine builders are using this type of set up that would explain the exaggerated horse power they claim. I dug this up thought it might clear things up a little

They must be the same ones that say Superchargers actually do poop too..lol

I've been out of this one and, well, since my mailscumbag decided to hang on to an issue or two for his own reading pleasure my mag was late anyway. So here's the spam, Derek or anyone else with XRC, will you give current subscribers ( or those about to renew) fuel bottles? And can you have the girl on the cover and the poster in the June issue deliver it?

Is there a protocol for getting my diapering mag?
I don't want a fuel bottle, just my mag. My archive wont be the same without it.

As far as the Dyno goes, you can argue the real world accuracy of the data and the way its tested till the cows come home. The fact of the mater is that all the engines are tested the same way and under the same conditions.

When looking at the individual data put out by the manufacturers, who knows how they are tested. I'm sure all the manufactures test them differently to suite their needs.

The data that is published by Derek shows us how each mill compares against each other in a controlled condition. Not only are they showing Mills against each other they show the same mill tested in the same way with mods. This is a valuable tool and the data is presented so you can use it as you see fit.

Very untrue. They are very repeatable and accurate. HP is a simple calculation. I can lay runs over each other. And in the full scale world they are used all the time.

You guys are actually fooled that companies have dynos. I can list the amount of them that do. Also our numbers are HALF of what the "claimed" hp is so how is that exaggerated hp? Our runs are directly comparable to each other and from testing on the dyno and real world (where it matters) I can even tell how the engine/pipe combo will run on the track.

Like I said anytime somebody is in the area and want to see how crappy of a dyno we have and how it works...address is in the mag.

Crappy? I think I said least accurate. Derek didn't mean to ruffle your feathers and I didn't say you where wrong. I just think you need to do a little more research. You might want to rethink your real world comment . Correcting,Simulating,Calculating and even guessing . Real world?? At the track is Real world! And for what it's worth I like your mag
