Welp, I just finished wrapping everything for some winter fun so I figured this would be a good time to add to this thread.

very nice i want my skid plate lol i wish i had half that dang alum

I'm not really a big fan of aluminum chassis braces. The braces are probably the single strongest spots on the T-Maxx. I had a VERY pretty set of 7075 aluminum braces for a couple years and I bent them last summer. I think if your truck takes a hit that will break the stockers... it's a big enough hit to bend an aluminum set. The bling is nice for sure, aluminum braces look nice but I don't think they are necessary beyond that.

Oh, man, Yukondenali.....Why Integy?

You really haven't ran that yet have you?? Hope you don't plan on bashing at all with those shocks. Watch out.

Here's a pic of my custom linkage. I made mine from Dubro linkage parts. Works great! My setup is a little different because I'm actually using a dual engine extended chassis I had from a project a couple years ago.

Integy's pretty crappy huh... I've noticed that if i were to drop the truck from like 2'-3' it bottoms out big time....I'm not a pro with these trucks but even i know thats not right... My stock savage has a better suspension..I'm pretty disapointed with the integy...( oh yeah thanx for pointing that out zach...)

Lesson mine looks just like that. The double linkage to my throttle but it is because of how the mill sits. I forgot that angle in a pic, but when I saw your setup it looks like great minds think alike :)

The bottoming out has to do with your springs, the quality of the aluminum doesn't really have anything to do with it. I don't know if Integy still make it but they used to have a spring set that is very nice. It was a set of 5 different springs rates. It's a nice set to pick up since the springs are pretty much compatible with other brands of shocks too including stock. I won't rule out Integy quality completely, some of there stuff is good, but some of it sucks. You just have to consider the part and it's usage.

Your right..I mean on road the shocks are great they keep the truck lower and give better control but off road they are ehh o.k. ( oh and btw what are you holding in your avatar pic?..looks like cognac..)

Looks like the spring has been compressed and possibly bent, either that or the shock shaft is bent. May be just the angle of the pic though
