Check the crawler discussion here, you'll probably get more traffic. I'm not into crawling, but I would think it would be very difficult to use a nitro powere vehicle as it would be too hard to control power and torque.

Nitro and independant suspension is not the best choice for a crawler, read through some of the other threads here discussing nitro crawlers, and you will see the reasons they are not the best choice.
If you want to get in to crawling a solid axle electric truck is a much better way to go. The HPI wheely king can be converted in to a decent crawler and won't break the bank. Or look at the new Axial AX10, that is a sweet little truck right out of the box.
