Porting and turbo engines

Ok what is the deal with the ports of an engine? I have heard of different nuber ports and angled ports? How do they make power? AND what is the deal with "TURBO" engines? Do they work like an actual turbo on a real car?:read:

A turbo engine is just the type of gloplug. The head is also made differnt.

The angled ports just direct air and fuel thrue the engine

A turbo r/c engine has a different head and glow plug that seals better than a standard plug,giving a more consistant compression ratio!
