i took a phone holder and taped it to the roof of the wraith to see if it would work. it did so now imma try to make it work better.

I'm not able to at all, its just a recording sadly so not really fpv like a vr would be, but makes a fpv video for me to watch,
its just the phone on the car on record, so i gotta be careful lol

in the first attempt the phone fell off across the street, not good times lol, ran thru the snow in house slippers and long johns to save it from the melting snow
then i ziptied it to keep it on longer

If you have a TV in your house capable of mirroring your phone, you can strap the phone to the truck, open the camera, mirror the screen to the tv, and then drive in real time FPV mode from the couch. I may or may not terrorize my dogs this way from time to time.

lol! It’s all running over WiFi so the range is actually good enough for me to put the truck in the backyard and runaround close to the house right from the couch. Having kids comes in handy for recoveries.

That's funny. I walk limited distances with a cane. The only time I get to drive an RC outside is when my kid is here to go fetch in the event of a rollover.

I was thinking you could video call to another phone or tablet and use one of those headsets you slip your phone into. Then you have unlimited range on the video.
