Need advice on what pipe to get and servos for my 1/8 buggy:

1. For pipie, I am choosing between the jp2 pipe and jp3 pipe, is there a big difference in performance?

2. Steering servo, I want something cheap but reliable. Thinking of going with the 645mg, running at 34 only at Tower, any other cheap suggestions?

3. Throttle-will ordinary servos work or should I get the 625mg Hitec?

Buggy is a TT EB4 S3. Engine is Sirio Kanai Evo 2

I'm running a 945 steering servo , and a 645 throttle/brake, and I'm quite impressed with them both.
On the pipe, it depends on which engine, and intended use of the buggy.

As far as the concept of "cheap and reliable" if that existed , nothing expensive would ever be offered.

thanks I can only find the 985mg servo, good enough?

my engine is listed above, any idea if there is a tremendous difference between the jp2 and jp3 pipe

I'll let someone else deal with the pipes. I have ran the JP-2 and its a good pipe, but never on your mill.

Eddie has some good deals on the digital 5645, a little more $$ but WELL worth it as long as you have a radio that will adjust endpoints.

Thanks, I sent an email to him, I assume I can use a normal analog for throttle for now

Sure. Some perfer a analog servo for TH/BK, some dont. I have used both, the last being a 625.

PIPES EH ? If the track you run on is short aka 75' staight aways use the JP-1 Lots of low end torque. If ya run fast and far use the JP-3 lots of high end the JP-2 its in da middle :buggy1:

I would go with 2 Jr 126's--they run 35-40 and are a lot g=better than the 645's--I have had 3 645's go to hell in a year--and yes I know perfectly well how to set my end points--one of the three didn't even make it off the workbench from the installing it--the JR's have slightly better speed with comparable torque..very good bang for the buck!
