Anyone know how to remove micro pinion gears without the use of a pinion gear puller? I'd get a gear puller, but none of the hobby stores around here stock them, and I want to do this now. Anybody know any tricks?

A micro what?

I have used a small needle nose pliers on the underside of the gear and pull up. You may also try an old fork. Put the shaft under the gear in-between the prongs and pull.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I just tried that and at doesn't work on this little motor....all it does is pull the arm out, but not the gear!

Find a piece of rod the size of the shaft, not sure what you could use. On full size motors I have an old hinge pin from who knows what that works.

Place the rod inside the hole for the gear and contact the arm shaft. Take something hard to push on the rod/arm shaft and pry the gear. If the gear is shot, i'd just lock onto it with vice grips and pull it off. If it's good, try the needle nose or screwdriver under the gear method.
