Thanks. Pretty much everything on the truck is aftermarket. Titanium shock towers, and rpm parts.... ofna hyper 8 port .21. Full RRP tranny. This thing flat out flies!

I know, but it works for me for now. Thats the only filter that would fit in my application. When it flips, anything taller would get all torn up... i was using a MS air filter, got thrashed, so i went to something that didnt stick out as much.

that's cool, how long have you been running it now? I've always heard that they don't filter out the finest dirt particles but i'm not sure if I've ever heard anyones 1st hand experience.

It works fine for what i have used it for. I still have plenty of compression. I havent run it in any really dusty conditions, so i wouldnt know. I have only used it mainly on the street.

Nope, i used a totally custom mount off of ebay. It looks similar to the NewEra mount, but its not.

Definitly not much stock left... good looking rig.

I'm surprised there isn't a hinge pin capture plate for the front pins... maybe you should make one. It would help against bending hinge pins on rough landings.

What tires are those? I'd like to get another set for my HPI MT.

Those are the Imex claw dawgs for 2.2 rims. I havent bent any pins yet, but i try not to jump it very much (i get carried away with the speed, and it gets stupid air). Nothing on the car is stock except the battery holder. I have over $1300 into it, but thats since i got it... it would only cost about $650-700 to build from scratch. If the nut on the rear wheels get loose a little bit, the rims strip.

You just can't not have a big block in your stuff can you. It's cool, but I could see it getting expensive.

I kind of like having a small block truck to fiddle with. It feels like more of a toy to me. The savage feels more like a machine.

Oh yeah, and i have to use paddles for off road use, because the "dirt" tires just dont have grip... :hammer:

I need to get some vids up of this thing. I have been wanting to, but i dont have a camera man... anyone wanna offer?

Once you tell your finger to take it easy, its pretty easy to drive as long as you dont nail the throttle. Wheelies like crazy. I have yet to try 24/54 gearing. I tried 22/58 and i blew up a set of foams... needed the camera for that one!
