I'm breaking in my new Picco and on the 6th run it all of a sudden got very hard to pull start. It's been starting fine, does this happen the more you break it in? I actually wore a bad blister on my finger, it's almost impossible to pull the string. Any advice or suggestions?

Am I going to need a roto start for this motor? I couldn't imagine trying to start it every time with it this tight.

Pre-Heating the engine block is your best friend until the engine is fully broken in.

I'm half a gallon through my lrp 28 and it still gets stuck up top.... these things take a lot longer than the trx3.3 motor to break in.

My LRP .28 manual actually recommended loosening the glow plug slightly to reduce compression, also heating the engine with a heat gun or hair dryer pryer to pulling it over. I am assuming you didn't mess with your tune and are flooding/hydro locking.
