So where will he land next? Will he be like Joe Namath and flop after the move or be like Joe Montana who had some sucess? I hope he lands in San Francisco due to Alex Smith being a free agent but only time will tell.

Joe Montana was a GOD in San Fransisco, he was average in KC...I wouldn't call that success.

Alex Smith plated great last season, why would you want someone else? As great as Peyton was/might still be I don't think he could walk in and take you as far as Alex Smith will.

I see Peyton in Miami, they REALLY need a QB and they have enough talent already there to make a run at the playoffs with Peyton.

I don't want to get rid of Alex Smith but in the end money talks and after that awesome season he had last season, I think he's the third most sought after QB behind Manning and Flynn. Mannings' age is definitly a concern for any team but if Alex Smith does decide to leave, the 49ers would be really dumb not pursuing Manning. I also agree that the Dolphins are the front runners in the sweepstakes.

Smaxxin - from your mouth to Gods ears! As a Miami fan i would be thrilled if he joined. This way we can draft a late 1st rd QB and have him mentored by one of the best in the game.

I think a number of teams will make the attempt to get him, but honestly I see him going to one of two places. Miami or Arizona, both I think are very strong possibilities though I think Arizona will be the place he calls home.

Arizona could free up cap room by getting rid of Kolb, whom they aren't sold on, pick up Manning. Manning would have a great running back and one of the best receivers to throw to. Just for fun, imagine Arizona picking up Reggie Wayne. The team would be like the Colts old days when we had Harrison. You can only double team so many players before you start leaving to many others wide open.

IMO, AZ is where he's going.

He'll go to the Raiders since that's where all great players go to die. LOL

I agree that it will either be Miami or Arizona.

Ryan Lea.....I mean Andrew Luck will lead the Dolts to a 1-15 season. The owner of the Colts is a world class douche bag. He should have paid Manning, drafted Luck and used Manning to cultivate Luck for the future.

^^^^I totally agree with you robmob but with todays new of letting go like 5 players, it seems they want to clean house and lower their payroll. I think the Colts might be like San Diego where Eli would not go to no matter what. Who wants to go to a team where the owner is cleaning house and trying to rebuild? I do think the Broncos are definitly in the front running, then Arizona and then Miami. I hightly doubt he'll land in Washington eventhough they have a great coach in Mike Shanahan.

Sure wish I was valuable enough to have several different people offering me MILLIONS of dollars to play a game.

Obviously being a Phins fan I like the idea but honestly would prefer Flynn over Manning at this point. Flynn can be had just as cheap or cheaper, our current Head coach is Green Bays OC from the last few years where Flynn has experience with the offensive system he will be enacting in Miami and I think he will play and grow quite well in that system. Look at Rodgers in that system. A top 5 QB the past few years. Not that Flynn is Rodgers but you get the point.

Manning would be a great addition but a temporary fix. He's only looking to play 3-5 more years and I've got a feeling if he doesn't have the perfect O-line in front of him that his neck will make him retire earlier than he may want to. And honestly were more than just a QB away from the SB. O-line, RB, S, all major concers before we start talking playoffs. The best fit for Manning IMO - The desk at CBS with Marino and Boomer while he can still turn his head or the sidelines of a team. I could see him becoming a great coach in the future. He's such a student of the game that I just see him involved until he dies
