It was the first clear and warm saturday that we've had since I bought my hyper 7 back in early Jan.
I was out late last night having entirely too much fun ;) , so I got a late start today running the car.
It fired 2nd pull and idled nicely, I let it warm up a bit to about 150 deg, and then started to slowly ease around with it.
I suddenly had an urge to sneeze, and did, and when I did I pulled the throttle suddenly and it killed the engine. So, I went over with the glow starter, fired it off, and damned if the ps return spring hadn't let go, :(
So, after a full 2-3 mins of warm-upit was time for repair, lol.

I've repaired many, many p/starts, but all of them were on 1:1 engines.
This lil dude was a bear!
It was an interesting experience to say the least :OMG:

Luckily the spring had broken close to the center, probably a usual place for these guys to "let go", and I was able to modify it a touch so that it would work.
In fact, it actually works much smoother now, so maybe it was attached wrong to start with.

Anyway, it was my fist time to run with my new 945mg steering servo, and that is a stout lil fella :) and quick too.

Turned out to be a good time, but I think I need to do a lil more tuning, it seemed to run a bit on the hot side, highest I saw was 272 and I shut it down.
Guess I need to richen it a touch tomorrow.

i wanted to burn some nitro today but I'm gonna definally run something tomorrow!!!

Jeep, the same thing happend to me with my rs4, like the 1st time out of the box i noticed it was having trouble re-coiling and it just got worst and worst and i had to move the flywheel with my hand to help it re-coil, a day later i went to start it up and it didnt recoil at all i i found out the spring snapped right towards the end were it goes into the notch on the plastic to keep it in place, those things are SOB's to fix , so i just converted it to rotostart..
