So, I'm going to be purchasing an ARRMA Outcast 4S V2 when spring rolls around and the golf course opens back up (I'm on maintenance team, so there's no work over the winter other than fixing engines). I would like to have a good list of metal parts ready for it when I inevitably break something. However, I currently cannot find any aftermarket parts for it on major aftermarket retailers. There's plenty for the 8S, but I can't find any for the 4S. Any good suggestions?

Amain seems to have stock on parts.

As for a basher you typically want to stick with plastic.
If there is a known weak spot for example a Caster Block or Suspension Pin Holder then you would pick those up in metal and leave the rest plastic. This fixes nagging issues but leaves some flex.

By leaving arms and other parts plastic it creates easily accessible weak spots.
If you put on too much metal it can transfer forces deeper into the car making repair more difficult or expensive.

Possibly someone who owns one can chime in but when I had a 6s version it was a tank out of the box.

Good luck

Thanks. That's what I've heard, but there are definitely some spots that I would want to upgrade, especially when it lands on the front on one side, those suspension and steering components are susceptible to damage.

Got it. Maybe grab some spares?

I know when I raced TD (their older sister brand) there were a few weak spots I had to address on that platform as well.

Another thing to check into is a bumper, I've used T Bone Racing in the past with excellent success.

I believe Tbone is no longer. I haven't been able to find any of their parts in quite some time. Check out M2C racing. I have several cars running their chassis and assorted components, including my 8s outcast. Great quality and warranty and a really friendly bunch to deal with.

I believe that t bone site is a scam site.

Damn they work a lot of hours making toy car bumpers 🤣

I have a few of their bumpers and they are great. Wish I could still get them. I do see an occasional ad on ebay for T bone parts but I assume those are scams too.

Probably say T - Bono or something on it

I remember the first time I ordered a T Bone bumper, I was like what? $20 for this!?
Well, I’m happy to say it held up much better than I expected. Simple designs made with quality materials. I do miss them. I’ve made a few of my own with Kydex, if you get the fitment right they do work pretty well.
