Panthers vs. Hammers

Well whats the verdict? I have a set of both I donno what one to use. Feedback here guys?

I've ran hammers but not panthers although I've seen alot of panthers in action, i like the hammers but the panthers hook up alot better imo i would just say the only problem with them is in off camber stuff but if you used some good not too soft foams you should be happy.

Hammers are great for nailing stuff. Panthers are big cats. I don't think you can compare the two but have at it, skippy. Whatever floats your boat...

If it helps any, a lot of guys running Panthers make hybrid foams by using a memory foam middle to the ring and harder non-memory outer sides to stiffen up the sidewalls. There's a huge thread about Panthers on the 'other' Crawler forum somewhere.

What about Hot bodies Rovers ? I just build a new rig with the Rovers you will see it on Friday when the chassis is released to the public. The Rovers are gonna be HOT !!!

well he already got the panthers but now I'm really curious chip about the rovers, i was planning on the hpi's but either one stand out to me as a must have lol.

I've got Rock Claws, Panthars, Hammers, Moabs, and a few others. I'm anxious to try the new HPI and HB stuff as well as the Losi Carvers. The Carvers are first on my list to try.

The Rovers are a good tire! They bite a little better than the Cougars & give you better ground clearance. I'm running Cougars on my Berg now & really like them,but I will be going to the Rovers on Fri!

If I had to choose between the Hammers & Cougars, I would no doubt go with the Cougars!! I ran 1-1/2 memory foams in the front & 1-1/4 memory foams in the rear & had a pretty good balance front & rear.

The guy also had a set of rovers and foams he would have traded but I would have had to pay shipping on the tmaxx and this way he paid the shipping and I am getting the panthers and all the foams he could find. Those Rovers are way taller and i want them lol.
