Paints required for a titanium look

There are multiple types of paints to use. Pactra Acryl and Parma Fascolor are water-based lexan paints. Pactra Racing Finish is a laquer-based paint for lexan bodies. No matter which you decide to go with you can get a nice titanium color if you mix a little bit of silver into black. Just do a little at a time until you reach the tone you like.

Actually you would want to mix a little black in to silver, since titanium is actually closer to silver than it is to black. just a few drops at a time until you get the color you want.

If you look at the body I did for beason, I achieved the pewter/titanium look by first laying a uniform coat of Pactra Acryl Transparent Smoke. Then a coat of regular silver. And then back it with black. I think it looks pretty close.

I know I've done something within the last year with a titanium tone it it but I can't remember what..

This Mini-T body is a few years old and I dno't think I even have it anymore, but it was my first attempt at using titanium and silver together.

Tips are for spray. There are very few instances where it's reasonable to brush anything on a lexan body IMO. I have done it before but only once I believe.
