@OnwardGuinevere was it you curious about a 3d pen? I made light buckets for a 2500hd body with them. With that you must put tape first before drawling. It will show through on the paint.

That would be super cool. There is a 3d printed body out there I believe.

I did read the warnings . I'm impressed how I've seen folks smooth out the 3D prints with a filler/sanding. I wish I had known that when I was working on my SCX24 Mater.

I haven't gotten into the 3D pens yet, they look very useful though. I imagine with enough glue (shoe goo or hot glue) the lights would be pretty secure.
(Assuming I do it correctly)

@WickedFog has the plug on chrome pens. If you want them permanently in, shoo goo and drywall mesh tape.

I also found these lights that are threaded, that would make an easy attachment to the body. I'm just not certain how they'll look.

I get everything in place, and then smother it in hot glue. It also helps keep the wire connections firmly in place.

The other part I'm noodling, is mounting it to the TRX4. I don't want to use pins. So I'm thinking I'll mount magnets or something. Likely modify the stock body mount posts.
