Painting Body Parts?

I was just wondering if there was anything i should know about before painting the electronics holder and side rails on my MT.
Any help would be great! Thanx!

Never painte just dyed the parts. I would think that if you do the paint route you would have to sand the parts well so the paint would adhere to the surface.Don't use model paint as it is too brittle and doesn't flex.

If your gonna paint plastic you definately should scuff them good like Jon said. use some fine sandpaper. I've heard really good things about Krylon Fusion spray paint.

does it matter if the parts are black. and i will wash and sand the parts before i paint them?

if ur dying them then yes it does but if ur painting them then i would guess not should be fine.
